How Good To Go 'Ready' works

Once a vehicle's assets have been tagged with Good To Go's RFID tags and, the assets have been registered against a vehicle's manifest, there are 4 easy steps to follow.

  • From the App home screen, users can begin their scan either by tapping on the screen or pulling the trigger. Organisations can also choose to have an extra layer of security by adding a 'Log In' function, integrated to their existing IAM system.

    Good To Go Begin Scan
  • Users will then proceed to scan the vehicle tag, in-turn loading the vehicle's manifest. We recommend the vehicle tag be installed in the cab on the passenger side of the vehicle, away from areas where it may get damaged.

    Good To Go Scan Vehicle
  • Users will then scan each section in-turn. As a user continues around the vehicle the results from the previous section are saved, displaying the results on screen. If assets are flagged as missing, users can pause their scan, restock the missing assets and continue scanning.

  • Lastly, the users will have an opportunity to review any of the missing items as well as enter any additional notes or observations they may have made during the course of the scan and then submit the results of the scan.

    Good To Go Scan Notes
  • While regular scans aid the equipment checks of front line workers, the resulting information is made available to station commanders, district officers & other interested parties as both visual confirmation of a service’s readiness levels & issues that could require remediation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Good To Go 'Ready cost'?

There are essentially two price components for any implementation - one is the monthly/annual cost per station to run the service and its various components (including a hand-held reader per site), the other is the initial set-up fee which is determined by the outcomes sought, points of integration and how many tags, readers and vehicles you're needing to tag. Working with us on a Solution Discovery will better identify each component.

How do I view my data once submitted?

Along with the Good To Go 'Ready' app, subscribing organisations also have access to a fully functional dashboard where they can see their historical scans, overdue scans and filter on scans based on location, vehicle type and date.

Can i import this scan/location data into my EAM System?

This has been a very common request, and while not originally part of Good To Go 'Ready', this functionality is currently being developed as part of the pilot with Fire and Rescue New South Wales.

Some of my assets have RFID tags built into them, will Good To Go 'Ready' read those tags?

Short answer, YES. Good To Go 'Ready' can read any HF RFID asset tag, and such existing tags can easily be incorporated into the manifest profiles of each vehicle or location.
